Triple Threat Omitted Scene 1 - Giovanni’s Birthday

Two weeks after Chad’s birthday party, I was getting ready in my room. The band was meeting at a local bar, Charlie’s, to celebrate Giovanni’s birthday, which had been the day before. I found it an odd coincidence he was also born in March, but stranger things have happened.
Chad walked in through the open door. “Holy crap, you look good!” He said after closing the door behind himself.
He soon was behind me, looking in the mirror at me. For some reason, he did that a lot. When he put his arms around me, I automatically closed my eyes, remembering waking up in his arms. I had that on my mind a lot since that morning.
“You’re showing off a lotta cleavage, baby,” he whispered in my ear. I knew he could see a lot more than I was exposing from over my shoulder. “All the guys are gonna stare at you tonight.”
I knew they would, but I wasn’t worried. “I’ll be with you and Giovanni. No-one’ll hit on me.”
“With both of us, huh?” He smiled slyly in the mirror. “You’d like that wouldn’t you?” A finger slid down my neck. “Me and Giovanni, deep inside you…” His breath washed over my neck making me shiver, “…both of us making you scream.”
My pussy clenched, wanting exactly that. I hid the feelings he stirred up by laughing. “Chad, you’re so bad.” If he only knew what I dreamed of…
“I’ll do it if you ask, but only for you.” He breathed into my ear as he leaned down. “I’d do anything do for you.” He stood up and held me tightly to him, letting me feel his erection.
We stood there staring at each other in the mirror, the sexual tension building. I hoped he didn’t kiss me, because I would be putty in his hands. I would give him whatever he wanted, which was not how it should be.
Chad suddenly stepped back and spun me around, slowly. “You look awesome, baby. That’s my favorite skirt.”
It was my shortest one. “I know.” I was relieved the moment passed and looked up at him. “Hope there’s a good band playing.”
When we got to the bar, Chad and I sat at a table, so we could watch the people around us. The band played a mix of original music and covers. We noticed the reaction to the original ones was louder. The covers weren’t as good as the originals, so that was probably a big factor.
We hadn’t played in front of a large group yet, only parties. We also had not written original music yet, so we also played covers. The music was pretty loud, so talking was difficult, but we managed by sitting close to each other.
“We’re better than them,” Chad looked from me to the stage. “We should ask if they’ll let us play here.”
I shrugged, “Couldn’t hurt. It’s not like we’ve been turned down by any place.”
“That’s ‘cause we haven’t asked yet, parties are easy gigs.” Chad sighed. “We’ll have to get used to rejection. Some bars are picky about who they pay to entertain the customers. We probably should wait until we’re sure we can kick ass.” They both knew it took attracting good-sized crowds that got you more than just gas money, but they had to start somewhere.
I stood up to get a drink and almost ran into Rosario. “Crystal, you look fucking hot,” he commented, while scanning my body. “How come you don’t dress like that all the time? Mm-mm, I’d be on time more often if I knew I was gonna see so much of you.”
I laughed and rolled my eyes. “The garage is cold.”
“Do you think we would get anything done if she had this much skin showing while we practiced?” Chad asked.
Giovanni uttered. “No.” He shyly glanced at me then also looked me over, “Where you going?”
“Just to get another drink,” I told him.
As Rosario sat down, Giovanni smiled and put a hand on my back. “I’ll go with you.”
I turned, letting his hand slid under my short top, “Happy Birthday.” With a kiss on the cheek, I touched his arm. “Hope you’ll let me buy you a drink.”
“Just one,” Giovanni gazed into my eyes. “I can get outta hand if I drink too much.”
I laughed loudly, pretending that I hadn’t seen him drunk at Chad’s party. He was all over some floozy he just met, very unlike him. “I think we all do, how about a shot of good old Irish whiskey?”
“Sure.” Giovanni followed me to the bar. Then he stood next to me and kept looking down my blouse.
I hid the smirk I wore; enjoying that he liked my outfit. I handed a glass to him after I paid and lifted mine. “May you have many more happy birthdays.”
“You too,” he clinked my glass and quickly downed the alcohol. When we had both put ours down, he smiled and looked into my eyes. “Chad’s so lucky.”
A puzzled look crossed my face. “Why?”
“He just is.”
Then we walked back to the table. Once we were all sitting, the band announced they were taking a break. I stood up as soon as the lead guitarist came our way. “Hey, can I ask you something?”
He gave me an evil grin and his eyebrows rose. “I’m Stan. You can ask me anything you want.” He put an arm around my waist and pulled me close to him. “As long as I can…”
All three of my band mates stood up and crossed their arms.
“Can what?” Giovanni growled.
Stan backed away. “Hey, hey, hey, I didn’t mean to step on anyone’s toes. Just wanted to get me a little somethin’ somethin’.” He looked around, seemingly for his own band. “Uh, how about I answer the lady’s question? Is that OK?”
Chad nodded as I looked up at him. Then I moved closer to Giovanni, who had put a protective hand on my side. “Uh, I wanted to ask, what’s the best way to get gigs.” The guys reaction made me more nervous than Stan’s forwardness.
“Oh,” he looked sorely disappointed. “So you’re in a band?”
I glanced at my band mates. “Yeah, with them, I’m the bassist.” I took a step forward. I couldn’t let other musicians intimidate me. “Was it hard to get a gig here?”
“No.” Stan grabbed the arm of a guy passing. “Hey, this is Lee, our drummer.
I recognized him right away. “Hi. I’m Crystal. This is Chad, Giovanni and Rosario.” I shook Lee’s hand. “Nice to meet you, so, do you just ask and they book you, or do you have to have a reference?”
“With small places like this they book you in an open spot and only book another if you bring people in.” Lee looked me in the eyes, not once glancing down. “Just talk to the bartender, he’ll put you on the calendar. They got bands here Thursday and Fridays.”
Stan added, “Some of the bigger places want a demo CD first.”
Giovanni and Chad sat back down when they walked away. Rosario headed for the bar. Chad was nursing his second beer. He was driving, so he promised to stop after that. When Rosario came back with four shots of amber liquid, my eyebrows furrowed.
“We gotta toast to my baby brother,” Rosario said.
Giovanni shook his head. “I’m your only brother.”
“Still younger though.” He rose his glass. “Happy Birthday, and may you get as much pussy as I plan on getting being in this band!” We all laughed, knowing Rosario had already started a small fan club because he performed shirtless a lot. He liked showing off his tattoos.
After we drank them down, Chad stood up. “I can’t be the only one who didn’t buy him a drink.” He quickly came back with more shots. “But this is it for me and whoever else is driving.”
Soon the band started playing again. Giovanni shouted, “I think we have to watch out more for Crystal if she’s gonna dress like that.” He pointed at me. “That Stan guy made some quick assumptions that coulda got outta hand if we weren’t here.”
“I can stand up for myself,” I protested. “I’m not afraid of assholes like him.” I pushed my chair back and got to my feet then grabbed the chair. Three shots were a bit much for me. “I’m going to the ladies’ room.”
Rosario grabbed my hand. “Want me to go with you?” His eyebrows rose and he wiggled his tongue, showing off his tongue ring.
I knew what he was thinking. Get the drunk girl alone and she’ll drop her panties. “Not gonna happen, Rosario.” I looked at their concerned faces. “I’ll be fine. It’s just over there.” I pointed left then realized I was wrong and pointed right. “Relax.”
While I was washing my hands, I heard, “Hey Crystal, long time no see.”
I turned to see… because of all the whiskey, I was having trouble remembering her name. “Um… Elizabeth, funny meeting you here. I thought you moved to Nebraska or something.” I dried my hands and hugged her. “You look good.” Then I leaned on a sink so I wouldn’t stumble or fall.
“So do you. We’re on spring break and it’s South Dakota. I’m just back to visit, How you been?”
Time passed quickly as we caught up and I didn’t realize it had been a long time until there was a knock on the bathroom door and Giovanni’s deep voice bellowed, “Crystal you in there?”
“Boyfriend?” Elizabeth asked.
I sighed. “No, but I wish he was.” I thought about Derek the one I was dating. I didn’t consider him a boyfriend though. We just went out a few times so far. I quickly opened the door. “I’m OK, just talking.”
He took my hand. “I was worried. You were gone like thirty minutes.”
“Thanks.” I stepped out of the doorway and leaned against a wall. Then I looked up at into his dreamy brown eyes. “Anything else you’d like to say?”
Giovanni got closer to me and put a hand on the wall next to my head, “Maybe.”  He hesitated then leaned in close and whispered in my ear, “You look incredible tonight.”
I grabbed his biceps, feeling like passing out. He was so close to me, I felt his body heat. “Thanks, so do you.”
He breathed deeply. “Is that perfume? You even smell amazing.” He took another whiff. “Damn, how do you turn me on so fast?” He pressed his body into mine and held my gaze.
Shocked, I stared at him as his erection rubbed my abdomen. He was slurring his words a bit, but could he be so drunk he didn’t know what he was saying? I was not clear-headed, but knew I wanted him just as much.
“Do you wanna go somewhere else, together?” I wanted to take advantage of his sudden boldness, “Maybe somewhere with a bed?” The words fell out of my mouth before I realized how cheep and desperate I sounded.
Giovanni put a hand behind my neck and tilted my face upwards. “I… I…”
“Way to go, bro.” Rosario nodded at us before disappearing into the bathroom.
I looked back at Giovanni who looked confused. “Should we go?”
He shook his head and grabbed a hold of me to steady himself. “Um… um… I think I’m kinda drunk.” He closed his eyes. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to come on to you.”
“Hey you two,” Chad separated us, trying to hide his obvious jealousy. “I think you guys drank too much. You’re both cut off.” He put an arm around each of us and led us back to our table. Then he helped us sit, his chair between us.
I glanced at Giovanni who was staring at nothing with an angry look on his face. I wanted to see if he was alright, but didn’t because Chad was right there. It was not the first time I was torn, I just was leaning more toward Giovanni. I really liked him and wanted so much more than friendship from him.
“Did you see these two before?” Rosario joked as he came back. “My brother the pussy finally stepped up. Did you at least feel her up?”
Chad cleared his throat loudly. “They’re drunk. Drop it.”
Rosario’s mouth opened in realization. Sometimes, I hated how perceptive he was. He figured things out quicker than anyone should. He put an arm around his brother and pulled him closer. Then he whispered in his ear, which made Giovanni grin.
I heard another familiar voice and turned my head. My eyes opened wide when I saw it was Derek. I had told him that I was going to hang out with my band and I wasn’t available to him. He liked that I was in a band and told me he wouldn’t even call. I hadn’t told him where we were going. I suddenly wished I had.
He started coming towards us and I shook my head at him. When he came to the table, I got really nervous. “Hey, Chad,” he said. I felt like a weight lifted off me. Then Derek smiled and winked at me, “Hi, Crystal.”
I looked at the guys and only Rosario had caught the look. He smirked at me and nodded at Derek. My eyes pled with him to stay quiet.
“You guys remember Derek, right?” Chad asked. They all shook hands. “What you up to tonight?
More relief washed over me. It seemed Chad still did not recall me kissing Derek or that we planned a date. Chad hated if I was dated one of his friends. I also didn’t want Giovanni to know, because I would rather date him than Derek. It just seemed like that would never happen.
“Just hanging out, had no idea you guys’d be here.” Derek glanced at me again, but made it more subtle, “Frat party tomorrow night, right?
Chad nodded, “Yep, 8:00.”
“I’m gonna let you guys do your thing. See you later.” Derek winked at me again.
After he left, my thoughts started running wild. How in the world could I be attracted to three men at the same time? It was different with each of them, but confusing. The one thing I knew was I would choose Giovanni over any of them. If he just gave me the chance.
